Here’s me doing a front wheel drive burnout on a picture of my ex, because I’m 18 and very mature. It also looks kinda cool and I figured that this gif would make up for my sub-par writing.

I am worthy of your questions, and here’s why:

1. I am horrendously bored and bed ridden and quite literally have nothing else to do.

2. I own and drive cars and have opinions on lots of things.

3. I dislike new Top Gear, but continue to watch it just for Chris Harris. This shows that I am dependable and loyal, even if that means I have to sit through 40 minutes of Chris Evans being loud and unfunny.

4. I can probably add more things once you ask me some questions.

So if you bored and/or bedridden, feel free to ask questions, and if you just clicked to see what the GIF was, you too can appease me and ask questions cause why the hell not?

Merkur is doing alright, although I’m sad to say she will be leaving my care in the next couple months.

And just in case my mom happens upon this at any point, no I haven’t.

“My friend” however has. We were driving “his” Chevy Blazer in the winter and as “he” rounded a corner, “he” gave it a bootful fueled by 17 year old stupidity. The car understeered into a snowbank, somehow managed to climb over it rather than just plowing into it, and launched off the end.

It felt like a good two seconds of air time despite the fact that the time the wheels spent off the ground was likely negligible. “My friend” learned a valuable lesson that day about his limits, and quietly drove home to never speak of the incident again until some dude on the internet asked him about it.

I assume you have guitars. You may even have answered this at some other time, but what are they? Also, if the Merkur was a guitar, what would it be? I'm comparing it to my Martin Backpacker. Funny looking, a little hard to play with, but pretty good.

I’ve currently got “too many” guitars to quote my mother. 22 to be exact. I’ve got a wide range of different things. A vintage Yamaha 12 string, a Nighthawk, a few Starts, couple Teles, an Ibanez with a Floyd Rose I needed for a show, the Joe Bonamassa signature Epi with the Bibsby, a Taylor acoustic, a PRS. My house is full of guitars.

If the Merkur were a guitar it would probably be something like an old Airline. The Reso-glass thing that Jack White plays. It’s old and cranky and you really have to work to get anything good out of it. They're unique, they turn heads, and those who have them love them. Despite all their faults.

Hell of a collection, man. Love the Bonamassa axe in particular, not just for the color but because he’s in regular rotation on Pandora for me. So good. I'm a drummer, but I've got an old Gibson Ripper bass, the Backpacker, and a cheapo Olympia acoustic.

The Bonamassa guitar is one of my favorites. It plays great, and sounds amazing. The guitar also came with a meet and greet with Joe which was awesome.

I would love to daily a C7. Have a C7 as my only car. I like being impractical, and a big V8 is never a bad thing. Once second hand prices start to drop I’llbe very tempted to make this idea a reality.
